CoC Voting on Grants
Representing the Community Voice
Grants are to scout talent within the DAO and to give people an opportunity to show what they bring to the table. These grants serve as a stepping stone for individuals to demonstrate their skills in a meaningful way.
The Catdets WG holds 2 of the 5 Grants votes to decentralize decision-making and amplify community voices. One of these votes is specifically delegated to the CoCs.
After the grants council votes on a proposal, the last vote is handed over to the Cats of Culture. CoCs engage in discussions to deliberate on the proposal and cast the final vote.
How It Works
1. Grant Proposals
When we receive grant proposals, they are carefully documented and shared with CoCs for review.
2. Discussion Period
CoCs can discuss proposals in the Thunderdome channel before the formal voting begins. This ensures thorough consideration and community input.
3. Voting
Using our voting tool, CoCs cast their votes to help guide CAWG's final decisions.
